About the Event
Join us for one of our award-winning Recycled Instrument Project workshops this December school holidays, sponsored by Healthway and the City of Mandurah!
Led by Djinda Boodja Arts Centre Director Vicki Warn and Curate Micro-Factory Director Patricia Alessi, join us as we explore our stock of maracas at Frasers Landing Community Centre and turn musical trash into treasure!
A great nostalgic intergenerational hands-on arts workshop for ages 4-94, we are looking forward to giving forgotten maracas a new lease on life - and you get to take them home!
The workshop is located at Frasers Landing Community Centre, 1 Landings Boulevard, Coodanup WA, Australia.
Frasers Landing Community Centre is 150m2. It is a space that has huge windows and a lovely deck both sides. It is all accessible and welcomes many local groups for meetings, workshops and art classes.
Thank you to Healthway for sponsoring this workshop. We are proud to bring the Act Belong Commit message to our award-winning workshops! And thank you to the City of Mandurah. We love working with the Mandurah community!
Please note that this is an intergenerational arts workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.
In accordance with hygiene requirements, hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use throughout the workshop, too, in order to help ensure the safety of staff, artists and guests.
If required, COVID restrictions and/or adjustments may be made, in accordance with current health requirements.
