Join us for one of our most intriguing workshops to date - An Introduction to Luthiery!
But... what on earth is luthiery?!
Luthiery is the construction and repair of stringed instruments.
So if you've ever wondered how your bashed violin comes back to life or your gutted guitar is magically renewed, now is your chance to talk to one of music's mystical craftsman who breathe new life into the world's stringed instruments.
Learn how you become a luthier, what they do every day, and what one of WA's finest luthiers, Andrew Tait, regularly repairs and restores.
A workshop perfect for those interested in music, instruments, woodwork and handmade artisan crafts, it will certainly inspire and delight!
Location
Please note that this workshop is located at the Shire of York Town Hall on Joaquina Street in the Wheatbelt in York, WA.

This is an introductory workshop. Please only touch the instruments and parts if instructed and follow the instructions, as provided by luthier Andrew Tait.
