About the Event
We all have that broken instrument that cannot be salvaged - it would cost more than the instrument is worth to fix it! - but we cannot bear to throw it away.
Instead, recycle it! We'll bring the paints, the glue, the glitter... just about everything that could infuse a new soul into your tired and battered guitar or violin.
All you have to do is bring your old instrument - just no Stradivarius violins, though, please! We've got a luthier (someone who makes and repairs instruments) that could fix that right up.
And, if you don't have one, no worries. We've got some spare violin and viola bridges lying around for you to bedazzle instead!
Our FRINGE WORLD 2021 version of The Recycle Instrument Project is graciously supported by the Town of Mosman Park. We are very grateful for their support and for the support of Tessa Flugge and Hannah Adams, Project Officers Community
