🎡 Join us this April School Holidays for one of our most nostalgic workshops ever - our fan favourite, Musical Pinwheels! 🎡
If you know Curate, you know we just 💗 love 💗 the holidays!
So join us this April School Holidays in turning donated sheet music into an absolute wonder. Get ready for a blast from the past...PINWHEELS!
We all have spent our childhoods spinning them round and round and round and round... And now it's time to introduce today's high-tech lovers to the magic of low-fi papercrafts.
Join us as we cut and fold forgotten sheet music into pinwheels full of whimsy and fun. A great nostalgic intergenerational workshop for ages 4-94, these low-fi wonders will keep you reminiscing for yonks! 🤩
Participants kick off their session by choosing their sheet music, stick, pin and spinner colours as well as their designs for the pinwheels (we have stencils on hand; however, participants can free draw, too!).
Then we let creativity take hold! Our talented professional artist will be on hand to guide them using best artistic practice in their project, along with our experienced workshop facilitator who is there to assist wherever needed! 🖍️
Participants listen to luxurious jazz music whilst they chill out and create their own beautiful art project.
And it's up to each participant how involved our arts facilitators get involved - from no instructions provided to subject selection inspo to assistance. Just let us know how hands on you'd like us to be, we don't want to mess with your mellow. 👌
