Join us for the Making of Shadow Puppet Opera Workshop.
Together, we will explore the musical nuances of Claudio Monteverdi's short opera Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda.
Baroque specialist Patricia Alessi will offer an informative lunchtime lecture about the opera's unique music and the controversy that surrounded it. At the end of the lecture, you'll get a chance to try your hand at interpreting text set to music, too!
