About the Event

Event Details

Join Djinda Boodja for its Stencilled Creativity Community Workshop Series! Led by nationally-recognised Koori Elder artist Tabatha Davison, these workshops are free for Town of Victoria Park community members to attend.

With our Stencilled Creativity workshop series, we will help you begin your own personal creative practices journey. Participants are provided with a scaffolded approach of artistic development. Participants can attend one workshop or the entire series, suiting their own availability, with the goal of becoming a confident personal practitioner.

Tickets and Material Fee

Tickets are free; however, registration is essential.

If you are unable to attend for some reason, please cancel your ticket as soon as possible so that other community members can book into the session.

Location

These Stencil Art Workshops are held at the Vic Park Community Space, 10/660 Albany Highway, Victoria Park, WA.

There's free parking nearby at the Bowls Club and Community Centre, and there are excellent transport links available if you'd prefer using public transport.

The venue is accessible with accessible toilets. The Community Space is located on the ground floor of the Vic Park Quarter Building that can be accessed off Miller Street (next to Fowler Group office).

Fine Print

Please note that this is an intergenerational workshop. We encourage you to bring a smock or wear old clothes, as this is an arts workshop.

Photographs and videos may be taken of the event for promotional purposes only (including social media).

In accordance with hygiene requirements, hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use, too, in order to help ensure the safety of staff, artists and guests. If required, COVID restrictions and/or adjustments may be made, in accordance with current health requirements.

Workshop Protocols

Everything is included in our workshops; however, we recommend you wear old clothes and/or comfortable clothes as this is an arts workshop, and you will be working with arts materials.

We ask that all children under the age of 13 are accompanied by a parent or carer.
