About the Event

Event Details

Join Djinda Boodja & Curate on Day 9 of the WOW Festival for our two-time award-winning Recycle Instrument Project with its LPs & Me Workshops!

Led by Djinda Boodja Arts Centre Director Vicki Warn and Curate Micro-Factory Director Patricia Alessi, join us as we explore our stock of LPs (records) at the micro-factory and turn musical trash into treasure!

A great nostalgic intergenerational hands-on arts workshop for ages 4-94, we are looking forward to giving forgotten musical records new lives - and you get to take them home!

Location

Djinda Boodja is located on the shared Clontarf Campus. Access to it is via 295 Manning Road, Waterford, through the main campus gates.

Follow the signs for Abmusic completely around the U-Shaped Driveway. The centre is located in the last set of buildings right before the exit of the campus.

The carpark itself has a new sign in it for Abmusic Aboriginal Corporation – Perth Creative College & Djinda Boodja.

Please park in the car park and follow the signs for the Djinda Boodja Arts Centre.

If you cannot find your way, please call at 9458 9077. The staff will be able to direct you further.

Please note that this is an intergenerational arts workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

In accordance with hygiene requirements, hand sanitizing stations and cleaning products will be available for use throughout the workshop, too, in order to help ensure the safety of staff, artists and guests.
