Who we are
curate
Curate was founded by Artist/Owner Patricia Alessi who wanted to bring passion projects to life.
​
In 2020, Tabatha Davison of Yiri Arts joined Curate, bringing her extensive visual arts experience to the organisation. In 2024, Vikki Psychic Readings joined, too, bringing a new and exciting element to offerings.
​
We love the weird and wonderful and everything in between. Our aim is to push the boundaries every chance we get in order to create new, thoughtful and thought-provoking art with innovative artistic approaches.

We don't just think 'outside the box' - the box isn't even there!
Our Philosophy
We here at Curate use The Doctrine of Affections to inform and guide our artistic approaches and outputs.
​
This means that every piece of art, every installation, every musical note, every event, every workshop and every project has a specific purpose:
to move your emotions.
And if it doesn't accomplish this aim, then we just don't do it. We think this is a pretty awesome (and very valid!) approach to making intriguing and unique art.
