About the Event

Event Details

Join us for one of our award-winning Recycled Instrument Project workshops this April school holidays, sponsored by Healthway, Waste Authority and the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale!

Led by Djinda Boodja Arts Centre Director Vicki Warn and Curate Micro-Factory Director Patricia Alessi, join us as we explore our replenished stock of glockenspiels at the Mundijong Uniting Church Community Gardens and turn musical trash into treasure!

A great nostalgic intergenerational hands-on arts workshop for ages 4-94, we are looking forward to giving long forgotten glockenspiels a new lease on life (you remember primary school, don't you?!) - and you get to take them home!

Location

The workshop is located at the Mundijong Uniting Church Community Gardens, 18 Paterson Street, Mundijong, WA.

You may find more information on the venue here: https://www.sjshire.wa.gov.au/listings/community/116/mundijong-heritage-uniting-church-community-garden

Sponsors

Thank you to Healthway for sponsoring this workshop. We are proud to bring the Act Belong Commit message to our award-winning workshops!

Our arts materials have been generously sponsored for our participants thanks to a WasteSorted grant, from the Waste Authority of Western Australia. It is a wonderful initiative that supports sustainability initiatives in WA communities!

And thank you to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale. We love working with the Serpentine Jarrahdale community and are proudly supported by the Shire for our Recycle Instrument Project Workshops!
