Join Curate for our drop-in sessions for our Play Your Part collaboration in the16 Days in WA Campaign.
These sessions are for the local community to raise awareness about gender-based violence during the 16 Days in WA campaign, focussed on the campaign’s theme, ‘Stopping Family and Domestic Violence: Play your part’.
This includes what family and domestic violence looks like, what are the warning signs, where to find help and a chance to talk to a survivor who looks a lot like an everyday person in the community.
It is important that we bring this discussion to the forefront and stop criticising the victims (i.e. 'they should have left') and, instead, spark the conversation of how to get help.
